SYRIA IS ON THE MINDS OF COLORADANS

Colorado Public Television to Air Syria-focused Line-up

 

Denver (September 9, 2011) – Colorado Public Television zooms in on the Syria issue with programming beginning tonight with Charlie Rose Special Edition: Interview with Bashar Al Assad at 7 p.m. (repeats at 10 p.m.) and on Wednesday with Studio 12 at 7 p.m. and on Moyers & Company’s “What Are We Doing in Syria?” on channel 12.1 at 8 p.m..

 

Host Steffen Tubbs will discuss the complex and politically charged issue of the United States’ response to Syria’s alleged use of chemical weapons on innocent civilians. Guests will include foreign affairs experts from the University of Denver and others who will offer a balanced analysis of the issue.

 

Phil Donahue, filling in for Bill Moyers, speaks with National Public Radio Middle East correspondent Deborah Amos and historian and Vietnam veteran Andrew Bacevich about the possible repercussions of our actions in the Middle East.
