Colorado Public Television Presents
Broadcast Premiere of Beats4Tanner

Denver (December 4, 2017) – On Wednesday, December 20th at 8:30pm, Colorado Public Television (CPT12, PBS), in partnership with the Tanner Seebaum Foundation, will present the broadcast premiere of Beats4Tanner, an independent documentary film about the story of Tanner Seebaum, aka DJ Seebaum.

Beats4Tanner tells the inspiring story of Tanner Seebaum who battles a rare form of cancer and brain tumor called an Ependymoma that has come out of remission in 2012 in a deadly fashion. Tanner, aka DJ Seebaum, goes on a very courageous journey using electronic dance music as his catalyst to live out his wildest dreams and achieve his final wish – to DJ on the biggest stage in the world, EDC Weekend at the world famous Hard Rock Rehab Pool Party in Las Vegas, NV.

Presented by the Tanner Seebaum Foundation in association with D-House Entertainment and directed by The Mash-Up King, Beats4Tanner looks at Tanner’s fight with cancer as a child, including the work being done to battle the disease. When it was discovered that Tanner’s cancer returned, his focus on music becomes his life’s mission.

“We are proud to present the Colorado broadcast premiere of Beats4Tanner. His courageous journey displays not only the power of music, but the gifts Tanner brought to so many in his bright, but all too short DJ career,” said Dominic Dezzutti, Vice President of Content for Colorado Public Television. “We know our viewers around the entire state of Colorado will be inspired by the story of this remarkable young man.”

Beats4Tanner features interviews and music from electronic music stars Datsik, Destructo, Diplo, Downlink, Krewella, Reid Speed, Skrillex and Denver's own DJ Fury.
