No one seems to be willing to figure out the real cost of ethanol. How much fuel is being used by farmers to produce each gallon ethanol? I'm guessing it's several by the time the field is tille, fertilized, watered, harvested, hauled to the ethanol facility, etc. We'd be much better off figuring out how to produce cars that get better mileage. We were just in Ireland and they have cars that are getting 40+ mpg...and some of these cars are made by American companies (Ford, Chevy, etc). If they can do it for foreign countries, why can't they do it in the US?  

I have been a fan of Global Agenda and Alison Hill's productions for some time now. The main attraction for me is Alison's professional approach to programming. The June 28, 2006 show on how Chinese people are persecuted for practicing Falun Gung exhibits Alison's ability to produce the subject matter in an informative, educational and entertaining fashion. The guests comments, actual footage of what the guests about which the guests are discussing, the different camera angles, avoiding staying too long in one place, etc., the sound, the lighting, the background and experience of the guests, and the way the subject is comprehensively covered, results in a well- and thoroughly-produced program. I learned, first-hand, about how alive Communism still is in China, how severe human rights are violated, and the profundity of persecution of the immense number of Chinese people who practice Falun Gung. I commend Alison Hill for her remarkable producing talent, ability, and capability. Keep up the good work!
