The panel, especially Bruce McAndless, were outstanding, and your childish delight at their achievements mirrored my own. We whose lives resemble those of the "barnyard ducks" Antoine St. Exupery mocked with the metaphor of "wild geese" (representing aviators) soaring high above the muck of daily life, in "Wind, Sand and Stars", do well to remind ourselves that mankind's greatest work lies not only in caring for the weak and the downtrodden, but also in striving to fly ever "higher, faster, and farther", because we cease having any worth as a civilization once we cease.

Just watched "JOB PLAN: WHAT IT MEANS TO COLORADO." What I noted was an off hand comment by you MS Banks near the end of the program related to racism & the Obama administration. In over 50 years of voting, Obama was the 1st President I've ever voted for as oppose to " the lesser evil." I'm a moderate liberal environmentalist and obviously pissed at him. As a 13th white generation ex-Republican I left the party in the 60's when the GOP became the party of choice for the KKK & sympathiers. I don't like Obama hanging my arse over a limb calculating I will never vote GOP again. Called "good luck sucker" but probably right. The white "head in sands" media disregards racism in our politics at the demand of corporate America to keep a divided work force. There doing an excellent job. What do you think the 2010 elections and the Tea Party were about " the constitution & smaller government?" I'd say rather a back lash of old white under educated self-absorb-pitiful animals, the progeny of American racism. And who is financing the Tea Party groups, besides corporate carbon America? Amy Oliver, is a typical local TP conservative shill. Al Lewis does his work as a real reporter. So as a lady of color what do you think of racism in America as opposed to what your white contemporaries feel, all's well? We can generate 6 times the current U.S. electrical use just from reliable wind in South Dakota, Kansas and Texas, plus wind offshore in the Atlantic and Pacific and solar in the west. THIS NEEDS TO BE HANDLED LIKE A "MANHATTAN PROJECT" They've been dumb enough to lie for 3 decades about the physics that governs a planet. PHYSICS RULES, PHYSICS WINS; WHEN YOU CROSS IT, IT DESTROYS. Decades of bald-faced lies, about Global Warming, is the butchering of verifiable Truth, the violation of the associated Physics, and the violation of God's World.
