Spark Gallery announces two new exhibitions from its members April Noble and Elaine Ricklin, opening September 25, 2013. April Noble is a Denver based ceramic artist who is presenting her first show at Spark Gallery. Her new show, Emerge, presents a body of work comprised of ceramic pod shaped sculptures both as wall pieces and as free standing sculptures. These sculptures are a testament to the emergence of the creative force in the artists life: A new beginning and the promise of things to come. bi-coast.al is an exhibit of photographs, paintings, and prints by Elaine Ricklin. Although Elaine has been living in Denver for a long time she is a born and bred New Yorker. Annual trips back to New York reinforce all that she remembers about the east coast, and a recent visit to California during Winter gave her the inspiration for bi-coast.al. Also Showing: Robin Ringrose Robin Ringrose will be showing Patchwork Iron in the North Gallery. This a series of cast iron children's toys stitched together with ribbon and yarn accompanied by a series of panels telling a universal story of escape. This show is Robin's Masters Thesis and the culmination of 7 iron pours she has participated in.
