Original message: I just read an article concerning the programming on PBS stations. It stated that many of the stations would no longer show programs with religious content. Some have even pulled the weekly Mass for shut-ins that they have aired for many years. Wick Rowland, president and CEO of KBDI was quoted describing his station as "very eclectic" with a "huge diversity" of programming, which for a decade has included a weekly Mass. "No one would mistake us for a Catholic television station", he told Fox News. Bravo for Mr. Rowland! Someone who finally understands that diversity can include religion. The Mass is a tremendous gift and blessing for my husband's parents who are homebound. After all of this, we have a greater respect for your station. Thanks you so much.
