Original message: Mr. Gage's 9/11: Explosive Evidence presentation consists largely of "experts" who provide no empirical evidence, ignore the fact that gravity works the same regardless of what makes something fall, and simply express their opinion of what the 2001 collapse of WTC 7 looked like to them, taking some time to introduce us to the pseudoscience of divining collapse causes from their elapsed times (presented dishonestly), and citing molten metal in debris fires months after a collapse as evidence of controlled demolition. This newest dog-and-pony show concludes with an additional wasted ~25 minutes called "Seeking Understanding, 9/11: Coming to Terms," during which some people introduced by him as "architects and scientists with psychological expertise," despite not being architects, scientists, engineers, or in any other way relevantly qualified, and discussing nothing germane to the issue, direct a steady stream of condescending, specious, and thinly-veiled ad hominem at those of us who don't drink 9/11 "truth" industry Kool-Aid, and grace us with their patronizing and gratuitous opinions on why. I sincerely hope that CPT12-KBDI has also presented worthwhile, science-based 9/11-related programming from qualified experts in other time slots for comparison, since there's no means of rebuttal during this travesty, but if you insist on inviting him back every year to snow your more gullible and hapless viewers with junk science and malarkey, please hold him to the same standards as legitimate researchers. The NIST investigators produced rigorous forensic structural engineering reports based on real evidence and scientific principles, and since his alternative "hypothesis" is centered on the use of controlled demolition techniques, he's long overdue for a video showing us how they would actually have worked at the WTC on 9/11. From Section 2.4.4 and Figure 2-23 in NCSTAR 1-9, based on the 1985 Cantor S drawings and a number of other reliable sources, it's apparent that the 24 core columns in the original WTC 7 were W14 X 730s, and that the ones in the lower floor levels were either reinforced with heavy steel plates welded across their flanges, or with even heavier steel plates welded between them. A W14 X 730 with none of these continuous reinforcing plates weighs 730#/lineal foot, measures 22.42" in depth, has a 215 sq. in. cross-sectional area, a web thickness of 3.070", and 2 flanges that are 4.91" thick by 17.89" wide. To put this into even better perspective, here's one being cut the way it's typically done in a fabricating shop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c2o8k4n9CY As the video indicates, it took 7 minutes and 32 seconds with a large band saw and an abundant supply of water. Please urge your 9/11 celebrity to take some of the donation money he's constantly soliciting, mobilize the "800 engineers" he claims to have, get a few W14 X 730s, the explosives or incendiaries they think were used, and to sever the steel with them, documenting the entire process on video with sound. In the interests of simplicity and to prevent burdening them with any of the details they never bother to mention anyway, this could be done without the problems of secretly demolishing architectural enclosures to access the bare steel in busy, occupied Manhattan office space, their substances and timing modes of choice needn't be capable of surviving office fire temperatures for even a minute, and I'm sure we'll find it all sufficiently meaningful even without the plates welded on. According to them, 24 of these massive interior supporting columns, along with 57 perimeter ones weighing a mere 500# per lineal foot, were all secretly cut multiple times in a second or so, and your viewers are entitled to a demonstration.
