
Reggie Rivers
Reggie Rivers, host of GLOBAL AGENDA, has a diverse personal background.
Graduating from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelors of
Arts in Journalism, Rivers came to Denver to try out and eventually sign
with the Denver Broncos as a rookie free agent in 1991.
Rivers was with the Broncos for six years, and at the end of his first
season was named to Pro Football Weekly’s All-Rookie Team as a special
teams player.
Between 1993 and 1997 Rivers was a guest host on several Denver
television and radio shows including BRONCOS BEAT and SPORTS EXTRA on
KCNC Channel 4; THE ORANGE ZONE on KUSA Channel 9; and a weekly radio
segment called ROLLING WITH RIVERS on KOA-AM (850 radio). From 1997 to
1999 Rivers hosted an evening call-in talk show on 850 KOA. From 1999 to
2002, Rivers hosted his own daily afternoon drive time show on KHOW-AM
(630 radio).
Rivers writes a weekly editorial column for the Denver Post, co-hosts
COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF on KCNC Channel 4, writes once a month for Pro
Football Weekly, and works as an analyst for ABC’s College Football
Division.
Rivers has supported numerous organizations during the past decade. He
participates in more than 100 charity events every year for groups such
as D.A.R.E, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and
many more.
