OUT OF ORDER

CPT12 is pleased to announce OUT OF ORDER "RiNo." In this new series of shorts, OUT OF ORDER spends some time in RiNo – Denver's River North District – delving into the creative community that offers up amazing art, great food and drink, dazzling entertainment and a sustainable approach to community development.

RINO: Where Art is Made (Part 1)

In part 1, "RINO: Where art is Made," CPT12 looks at a thriving and vibrant arts community in which residents support each other and create a strong foundation for artistic success. The program features Redline, Studio 2B, Zwick Place, Wazee Union and Trace Gallery.
 

 


RINO: Eat, Drink & Be RiNo (Part 2)

Many Denver residents have worked up a ravenous appetite for food and drink that only RiNo can satisfy! Part 2, "RINO: Eat, Drink & Be RiNo" takes a bite out of RINO's food and drink scene with a look at businesses that are a vital part of the RiNo economic engine and are integral to the entire community’s success. Featured places include The Walnut Room, Hutch and Spoon, Mile High Spirits, Fuel Café and Novo Coffee.


RINO: RiNo Rock & Roll (Part 3)

The music scene is flourishing in RiNo! Part 3, "RINO: RiNo Rock & Roll" gets down with RiNo as it profiles the creation and performance of music that is a fundamental part of what makes RiNo a full sensory experience. Check out Rhinoceropolis, Audio Loom, Decibel Garden and Crash 45 in this rockin’ episode.


RINO: Contemporary Expressive Media (Part 4)

Part 4, "RINO: Contemporary Expressive Media," showcases work|space Denver and its unique format as a multi-arts performance venue operated by two organizations: Control Group Productions and the LIDA Project.


RINO: Building a New Community (Part 5)

Part 5, "RINO: Building a New Community," looks at RiNo's sustainable development and focuses on the pioneering and urban advancements of the Taxi development team. Residents discuss responsible growth and how the River North area is the ideal setting for creative commerce.


RINO: RiNo for Life! (Part 6)

In part 6, "RINO: RiNo for Life!" CPT12 looks at everyday life in RiNo and takes a close look at the live / work dynamic in which people are choosing to enhance all aspects of their lives. RiNo resident and entrepreneur Tran Wills discusses family life in the RiNo neighborhood.




As a Prospective Creative Arts District, the State of Colorado has acknowledged that RiNo is contributing to the economic vitality of Denver and that it has done an excellent job of attracting and keeping creative entrepreneurs and artists in the area.

This activity is supported by funding from the Colorado Creative Industries Division, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
