"Eating" is asking viewers to swallow nonsense

The following are my opinions regarding the infomercial "Eating" airing during fundraising: Every so often the cancer quackery of the 1930-50's gets rejuvenated. CPT-12TV has *once again* chosen to put dangerous nonsense before the public - complete with fear-mongering, conspiracy theories, and bogus experts. It is disturbing that CPT-12TV has so little regard for public health that it gives air time to this film's "experts" so that they can defame science-based medicine and promote bogus products - books, lectures, unregulated "nutritional supplements," expensive juicers, and even a Tiajuana cancer clinic. Gerson Method is considered old-timey cancer quackery that, unlike its victims, just won't die.

I have forwarded your comments concerning “Eating” to our Membership Department.  Our Membership Department is responsible for choosing to air  “Eating” as pledge programming.
CPT12 airs a wide range of programming dealing with health, healthcare, cooking, and nutrition from many schools of thought and practice.  Programs that present alternative views such as “Eating” are accompanied by an on-air Disclaimer (see below). CPT12as a station does not claim to hold these views.  “Eating” and programs like it are broadcast at the request of other viewers in the community who wish to know more about this and other information not adequately represented in the mainstream media.
