One doctor’s dilemma

Dr. John Kenagy says he has had many callings in his life, from patient care as a vascular surgeon to patient advocate. It wasn’t until he broke his neck falling from a tree that he realized the dysfunction of America’s healthcare system.

At the annual Colorado Health Symposium at Keystone, Kenagy was surrounded by people questions after he gave his keynote talk talking about his personal experiences while recovering from his injury, and highlighting the need to make health care more adaptive to patients’ needs.
