After cementing his reputation working as Chef de Cuisine at Jean George and then a long stint as the Chef at The Modern, Alsatian born Chef Gabriel Kreuther now runs his own eponymous place on 42nd st., right across from Bryant Park. It's the kind of kitchen I love employing loads of cooking technique and precision and utilizing the best ingredients possible.

Racine's is linked to Chambers St Wines down the block, spot on French inspired menu and an amazing selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Wine Disciples is a store right next to a restaurant, here the cooking is American / Italian, ingredient driven and the wine list by glass and bottle is wonderful.
