This program follows the grassroots efforts of Ikal Angelei, a 36 year-old Kenyan native, as she struggles to protect half a million indigenous people from the impact of the Gibe III dam in Ethiopia. The dam could well put an end to this oldest known living culture.

The program also bears witness to the human rights violations inflicted on indigenous peoples whose traditional homelands are bordering wildlife conservancies.
