Liam Gallagher has been called an era-defining voice and the frontman of his generation for his work with Oasis. Gallagher takes the stage at New York City's McKittrick Hotel, treating the audience to a special performance of Oasis' hit, "Wonderwall" and material from his critically acclaimed debut solo album, As You Were, including "Wall of Glass" and "Universal Gleam."
FRONT AND CENTER showcases a strong mix of performers that will satisfy the traditional music fan while building interest from the younger music audience stations want to cultivate. From 'super groups' featuring Stephen Stills and Joe Bonamassa to British newcomer Jake Bugg; from Southern Soul and Heavy Metal to New Orleans Jazz and Chicago blues; there's something for just about everyone in the lineup of nine concerts recorded live, "front and center," at some of New York City's greatest intimate venues. Many of the artists are touring this fall, giving broadcasts airing in September and October a little extra buzz in those markets.
