Colorado Public Television's three digital channels are broadcast over the air and at no cost to everyone with
an antenna. Channel 12 is currently working with local cable and satellite companies to carry all three of these channels:
The station's flagship signal provides a widely-recognized model for alternative PBS service - setting a high
standard for superb local, national and international programs. Now celebrating 30 years, Channel 12 continues to educate
and entertain with the best in children's, music, documentary, health, global and public affairs programming.
The NEW Channel 12.2 offers an expanded lineup of documentaries, children's programming, targeted how-to
shows about exercise, cooking, home improvements and travel, as well as nightly music specials. Channel 12.2 gives viewers
the chance to take a second - and often more in-depth - look at the relevant programming of the day.
This channel features MHz WORLDVIEW - a lineup of programs from around the world that provide diverse
cultural perspectives for a globally-minded audience. Programming blocks include world news, foreign affairs,
international mysteries, world music, sports, and foreign films.
Colorado Public Television is expanding its coverage to include more communities than ever before!
Ongoing improvements to our transmitters and wider digital carriage on cable and satellite systems are extending
the station's reach in almost every direction across the state.
Channel 12 is a spry, frugal station. With its small staff, modest salaries and careful planning, its annual
costs are less than $1 per Colorado citizen. For this small sum, the station offers three channels of diverse programming,
one of the nation's best public television websites, and an expanding array of digital services and community engagement.
Channel 12 has always championed experimentation, creativity, new ideas and high broadcasting standards - all while
working on a shoestring budget. Now is the time to support the station and help us bring this local tradition of independence and
innovation to more people in more areas of Colorado.
