CPT12 Sustainer Details

As a CPT12 Sustainer your ongoing monthly gift will be made through automatic bank transfers or credit/debit card charges.

With this eco-friendly plan, your membership will always be current and we will not need to mail you renewal reminders.

When you sign up to be a CPT12 Sustainer, you agree to the following:

1. My authorization to transfer my monthly support from my bank or credit card account shall remain in effect until I notify Colorado Public Television (CPT12) that I wish to change or end this agreement and CPT12 has a reasonable amount of time to act on my request.
2. I can increase, decrease or discontinue my support at any time by contacting the CPT12 membership office by email or by phone at 303.296.1212 during business hours (9am-5pm weekdays).
3. A record of each payment will appear on my monthly bank or credit card statement and will serve as the receipt for my gift.

What is a security code?

The security code is imprinted on credit cards to help merchants verify transactions when the actual card is present, such as Internet purchases on donations. The merchant uses this number as part of the authorization process with the card issuer.

Where can I find the security code?

	Visa, MasterCard and Discover: The security code for Visa, MasterCard and Discover is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after the account number (or last 4 digits of your account number) in the signature panel.
	American Express: The American Express security code is the 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears above and the to right of the embossed account number.

Information You Give Us

To participate in some activities, such as any Sweepstakes that we feature on our site, you may be asked to provide some personal identification information. 1. When You Make a Membership Pledge

Colorado Public TelevisIon will ask you to provide the information necessary to process and service your membership Pledge: name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number. This information is encrypted for your security and is only seen by our membership staff who processes your gift.

2. When You Complete an Online Survey

Colorado Public TelevisIon occasionally posts surveys on its site. These surveys, which are completely voluntary, may ask about your interests, occupation, educational background, and so on. We use this information only to understand our members and viewers better and to determine how best to serve them. Specific information collected in surveys is never shared with third parties.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Our server tracks how you and other visitors use the site, identifying the source of visitors to cpt12.org and what pages they use on our site. By looking at this "traffic" we can better understand our community, which allows us to improve our web site and to provide you with an optimal experience and better service.

In order to provide this optimal service and convenience we use "cookies." We regularly send e-mail newsletters to our registered members and visitors with information about CPT12 programs, services or membership opportunities. If you do not wish to receive any e-mail from Colorado Public TelevisIon, indicate your preference on the pledge form when making a pledge or send an e-mail message with your name to membership. We will do our best to make your change in a timely manner.

Colorado Public Television never sells, exchanges or lends to third parties any e-mail or telephone information you provide when making a Membership Pledge or subscribing to our e-newsletter.

Security

Colorado Public Television makes every effort to ensure that all of the transactions that occur on its website are secure. All credit card numbers submitted to the site are encrypted using "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) encryption, which is the industry standard for information security and is used by more than 100,000 Web sites in more than fifty countries. Any personal information you submit with your pledge is encrypted and completely secure. Even in the unlikely event that the information you send is intercepted it will not be usable by anyone else.

How Colorado Public Television Uses This Information

CPT12 uses the information you provide to fulfill your membership pledge and to keep you informed of station events and programs. Our staff uses your credit card information to process your pledge and our fulfillment agencies use your address information to mail you your gift. When you enroll in any sweepstakes featured on our site, independent sweepstakes judges use your information for the sole purposes of selecting and notifying winners.

Occasionally, CPT12 may share the information you provide (your name and your postal address) with other carefully selected organizations. In no event will Colorado Public Television sell, rent, lease, lend, trade, give, donate, transfer, or otherwise exchange, the station's membership lists with, or acquire such lists from, any candidate for public office, committees or organizations supporting a candidate, political parties, or organizations that solicit funds for use in political campaigns.

Kids

CPT12 takes great pride in the responsible and quality content we provide for children. Your continued trust is even more important as kids gain more access to the Internet. In the event that your child completes an enrollment form on CPT12's website and CPT12 learns that your child is under the age of thirteen, we will seek to obtain your permission to retain such information by postal mail or telephone.
