Basement wall/foundation
Posted: January 27, 2013 by Jim Quick
Program: Ask This Old House
I would like to know which program (recent date) analyzed a basement foundation wall that had a crack between two materials (rock/lime and concrete), and determined that it did not need replacement. I would like to purchase the cd video if available. Thanks.

Thanks for your e-mail.  Unfortunately we don’t have the ability to get the information that you are looking for nor do we or PBS sell the DVD for the series.  The best bet, I think, is to contact Ask This Old House via their website - http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/tv/ask-toh/.  It looks like you can watch full episodes there and maybe you can see something familiar by the title?  Or perhaps you could jot them an e-mail.
Hopefully this information is helpful.  Good luck!
Kind regards,

When is the episode on Ask This Old House on underfloor hot water heating being aired? Thanks, Jake
CPT12 Response:
Thanks for your inquiry.  I believe that was featured on episode #3008 which just aired last Monday on 12.1 and Saturday on 12.2.  I’m sorry if you missed that episode.  If we do repeat it our website will have all the details.
Thank you for watching Colorado Public Television.
home remodeling

Program: Ask This Old House

Today Sunday, you had a show on that showed a woman's kitchen was being remodeled. The show showed the counter top being replaced. Very briefly shown was a type of tape that was photographed and then the information was put into a computer which translated the info from the tape to calculate measurements for the new counter top. I would like to know what the tape was and how and where to get more info on the tape and the program and camera. Thank you very much. I have tried to look it up, but I can't find anything. Thanks for your help. Pretty cool stuff, and I would love info on it. Thanks, Angela
