Kids' programming

Program: Martha Speaks
We are really missing the kids' programs at 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. (Martha Speaks and Curious George). The schedule seems to show that they will be back on in a couple of weeks. But it's hard to explain that to a 5-year old that loves to watch a show before school. This is the only decent kids' show in the morning - please bring it back! I don't want to subject him to the Disney channel. Thank you!

Thanks for writing and we’re happy that son enjoys our programming.  As you probably know, we need to occasionally fundraise to keep these and other great shows on-the-air.  If only we didn’t need to fundraise!  So this is why the show sometimes gets pre-empted.  You can always find the latest schedule at:

Did you also know that we have a kid’s block of programming (Clifford, Wild Kratts, Arthur) from 6 – 7:30am on our Channel 12.2 (Comcast 251)?  This may be an option for some before school viewing during pledge drives on our primary Channel 12 (a.k.a. 12.1).
