Please remove program

Program: RT News
I write to urge you to remove Russia Today from your lineup of international news programming. While I enjoy watching news programs from all over the world, it has become completely clear in the last few weeks that Russia Today is purely a propaganda outlet for Vladimir Putin, and as such has no legitimate place in your programming. I do not wish my public TV dollars to be spent on propaganda. Please consider the integrity of you station, your reputation, and your viewers' best interests, and remove Russia Today from your schedule. Thank You, Lisa West

With that said, many of our viewers find it enlightening to watch RT News; especially with what is going on in Ukraine. We  get to see how events are interpreted and managed for mass consumption by Putin and the Kremlin.   Our viewers, like you, know what it is.  That is part of the fascination.
But how about that dramatic on air resignationof Liz Wahl over Ukraine coverage on RT News? That was pretty cool. Apparently not everything at RT News can be controlled by the state.
Thanks for your feedback. We do appreciate, respect and take note of your concerns over the program.
Sincerely,
Joan

RT News boycott

Program: RT News
Today, President Putin announced a reorganization of the state controlled media and put Dmitry Kiselyov in charge. Kiselyov is notoriously - to put it mildly - homophobic. RT News will fall under the new agency. Add me to the list of those who will no longer give money to PBS. Funding RT News is no different than funding a station which has a KKK outlet.
CPT12 Response:
Thank you for your email. I had not heard about the reorganization.

You show RT at 5:30 I don't think that is right. Now that you have gotten rid of Aljezeera and RT your morning news programs really stink. Can you do something to improve the early morning news?
CPT12 Response:
Thank you for your inquiry. Schedule changes can be very frustrating.
