Master Buck Paulson

Program: Painting with Paulson
I'm positively shocked at the prior post questioning "money better spent". Please let there be no doubt, Buck Paulson is a genius, a master and the most inspiring teacher I have ever encountered. I know this because I have had the very great opportunity to paint with him, and learn from him in several of his workshops. I am a formally trained, educated master artist in my own right. Buck is a precious and revered artist. Not only that, he is kind, real and good. It all shows in his art. God bless him and keep him forever. Sincerely, Marilyn

Buck Paulson Painting show

Program: Painting with Paulson
I like to paint and am always on the look out for shows on the subject that I have never seen. I just watched an episode of Painting with Paulson. Don't misunderstand me, I mean this in the most respectful of ways, is Mr.Paulson challenged in some way? If he is not, then I really am surprised that his show is being run on your channel. With art, as with many things, the expression, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", is certainly true and to each their own with regard to style, but this man's painting leaves an awful lot to be desired. I think your money would be much better spent on the Bob Ross series, or almost any of the other paint instructional series that have run on PBS before. Thank you, A.L. Camasso
CPT12 Response:
Thanks for the suggestions. I will forward them to our Programming Department.  We are always trying to improve our schedule.
Thank you for watching and supporting Colorado Public Television.

Program: Painting with Paulson
As a budding artist, in my senior years, I have searched for an appropriate mentor, and now have found the master artist that I want to emulate. Buck Paulson is a fabulous artist and a wonderful instructor. Many supposed art teachers sort of skim over the high points, but, are not willing to divulge their techniques and secrets which will assist a student to develop their own talents. Not so with Mr.Paulson. He willingly shares everything, thereby, inspiring a dedicated student to develop our own talents and to excel on our own merits, using his techniques to apply to our own paintings. Kudos to KBDI for carrying Painting with Paulson! Thank You. Evelyn Lasko.
