CPT12 Response:
Dear Anthony,

You may want to check with your neighborhood church to see if they can be of assistance in getting more missals.

Mass for Shut-Ins

I applaude you for continuing to air this Mass. I am certain that most of your supporters and sponsers take offence at this, as Christianity is most unpopular these days. However, some of your audience is pleased! It almost makes up for the pro-abortion programing that you show.
CPT12 Response:

Dear Liisa,

Thanks for your email. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoy Mass for Shut-Ins. You are correct that this can be a controversial topic for the station. The same could be said for just about any program, really. As they say "You can’t please all of the people all of the time…"

Thank you for watching and supporting Colorado Public Television.

I just read an article concerning the programming on PBS stations. It stated that many of the stations would no longer show programs with religious content. Some have even pulled the weekly Mass for shut-ins that they have aired for many years. Wick Rowland, president and CEO of KBDI was quoted describing his station as "very eclectic" with a "huge diversity" of programming, which for a decade has included a weekly Mass. "No one would mistake us for a Catholic television station", he told Fox News. Bravo for Mr. Rowland! Someone who finally understands that diversity can include religion. The Mass is a tremendous gift and blessing for my husband's parents who are homebound. After all of this, we have a greater respect for your station. Thanks you so much.
