Director of Content & Production

about Beth

Beth Liebetrau has two decades of experience working in television – split equally between the worlds of scripted network TV and unscripted lifestyle TV. As a casting associate and casting director, she scouted and auditioned talent for many TV comedies, a few dramas, and countless pilots, most notably The Office, Man Seeking Woman, Less Than Perfect, Mulaney, and IFC’s Emmy-nominated Documentary Now!. As part of CBS Studios executive casting department, she guided the overall casting process for a slate of 20+ series and pilots at any given time. A welcomed move to Colorado brought her to the other side of television – discovering hidden gem restaurants for Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, producing Magnolia Network’s In with the Old and Extraordinary Stories Behind Everyday Things, Food Network’s Guy’s Chance of a Lifetime, and casting homeowners for HGTV’s Mashup My Home, among others.

Beth is excited to dust off her Drake University Journalism degree with a return to broadcast in her new role at PBS12 where she’s thrilled to combine her passion for storytelling with social impact. She lives in Denver with her husband, Tony, and two rambunctious sons, Bodhi and Milo.
