A Watchful Eye, Part 1

Acrylic Medium on 18x24 vertical stretched canvas. In this opening session, Jerry talks with his viewers about the reference material he will be using of the moon, owl, and color scheme. Then he discusses the composition. Now he shows how to use modeling paste to texture the moon. Then he shows how to mix and apply the background color around the moon. He then finishes by showing how to mix the color for the moon and underpaint it with a mottling technique.
