KID STEW is a new fast-paced, irreverent series that's by kids, about kids and for kids, encouraging their interest in art, music and reading — and filled with plenty of laughs. From a concept by James Patterson, the best-selling author of adult and children's books, KID STEW features an engaging and diverse cast of real, relatable pre-teens in a variety of entertaining vignettes and sketches. Each episode includes original music videos, guest appearances by creative kids and adults, and comedy that keeps viewers coming back for more. In addition, the series showcases inspiring stories and segments, including a young violinist who composes his own music, street art with muralist Lebo, and a visit to India to explore the exotic dances of Bollywood. The series also includes interviews with renowned authors such as Dave Barry, Edwidge Danticat and Carl Hiaasen. KID STEW celebrates imagination and fun, and encourages the exploration of books, music and the cultural arts.
