Joshua Tree National Park, Part 1

Acrylic Medium on 18x24 stretched canvas. In this opening episode, Jerry talks about the features of the beautiful Park. Then he explains the layout of the composition and how to form the land masses to create the sandy washes. Then he shows how to paint a simple sky and distant mountains. He then finishes by showing how to use the #6 bristle brush to underpaint the sandy washes, eroded banks, and underbrush.
