I miss julia and jacques, together or separately. Why isn't your italian cook cooking italian food?. He was great when he did, but is boring now with his American guest cooks. Please bring back J and J in any of their series.

Thank you for your email. They do make a great pair.
I checked our schedule and we are airing Jacques Pepin: More Fast Food My Way on Thursdays at 12PM on Channel 12.2 (Comcast Cable 251 in Denver, Cable 187 in Colorado Springs/Pueblo).
Hope you can catch it tomorrow.
All the best,

Hello - I am looking for recipes that were shown on the Feb 2nd show at 3pm on Channel 12 Denver. Searched the web but unable to find. Thanks.
CPT12 Response:

Dear Jay,

Generally the recipes are given throughout the shows but you may also be able to find the recipes at the following link:

 http://julia.cookstr.com/

As someone that loves to cook, I have found that a quick web search will usually lead you to the recipes for most shows, however, in some cases you may need to purchase the DVD.  I searched the PBS website and while they have a lot of Jacques Pepin DVDs but I didn’t see one on Jacques and Julia.

Thanks for watching and supporting KBDI Channel 12.

I am in shock that you aired "Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home "Roasts of Veal and Lamb". Even meat eaters have (some) morals and would never eat a baby cow - that is in such poor taste, vile and morally reprehensible to encourage people to eat babies!!!! Baby boy cows (VEAL) are a byproduct of the dairy industry. Cows naturally must be pregnant to produce milk which is intended for their babies upon birth. So humans steal the cow's breast milk from that baby and EAT the baby - What the?????? Those baby boy cows never see the light of day nor can they turn around in their pen. They are intentionally deprived of a nutritious diet so that they become anemic and their flesh is tender b/c humans like tender baby meat apparently. THIS IS SICK and PBS should not be supporting this industry. Veal and dairy farming has consistently been exposed for cruelty. This farm in this video was recently shut down by as a result of this video. "The abuse of these infant calves is merciless". http://www.humanesociety.org/news/news/2009/10/veal_investigation_103009.html I want my donation back and I will never give again. Who is making your programming decisions over there? They should be fired. Mary Ann Ex Channel 12 viewer
CPT12 Response:

Thanks for your thoughts.  Not everyone shares your same views, and we pride ourselves on airing thought provoking television. Of course our intention is never to offend, but to stimulate our viewers into thinking about subjects in new ways. Be it the presence of our troops in Afghanistan, what can be done to improve health care, or in this case, what should or should not land on tonight’s dinner plate.

Contributions from people like you have made it possible to bring vegetarian programming, animal rights programming, and intense debate on subject like this to air, I would hope you would reconsider your membership.
