Thank you so much for airing this very important and timely documentary. Like most people I thought the majority of abortions were performed as either a birth control measure or becausse the mother was high risk. I have learned so much from watching this program and only hope that more doctors have the courage and compassion to step forward and perform this vital service. I cannot even imagine that if those who are against third trimester abortions only knew the truth of why most women who have this done make a tremendous heart wrenching decision, that those people would probably make the same decision, too. There were a host of examples given in the program, however the one at the end was the most compelling for me. A woman in her third trimester was carrying her third child, a child whose bones were breaking inside the womb, a child who would have died an excruciating death with breaking bones at every turn had it been carried to term and survived for probably no longer than three or four years. Who would want their child, or any child to experience such appalling pain? I used to say that I would never have an abortion myself, but that I did not feel it was my duty to deny any other woman that right. Now, I can honestly say that if I were to be pregnant with a child who was found to be in mortal fetal distress in the third trimester, yes, I definitely would have that abortion! Why would anyone deny a child the right to die peacefully rather than go on to live a few years in horrible pain? I believe there is only one God, yet my God is merciful; my God is Love. Thank you again, CPT 12, for airing this extremely informative program! I can always count on you for compelling stories, documentaries and news.

I am very disappointed to see that you are airing a program about late-term abortionists. This is the most dispicable and horrendous procedure imaginable. It makes me sick to my stomach. I think this is even the second time you have aired a program about this. I have enjoyed many shows from you, but I will not be supporting you anymore.
CPT12 Response: Thank you for your email, feedback and past support. You are not the only one who was offended by the airing of this program. After Tiller is a controversial film about a very controversial subject.
The PBS Ombudsman, Michael Getler has addressed the issue of PBS airing this program. You can read his remarks at: http://www.pbs.org/ombudsman/and-after-tiller/

I can not tell you haow angry this program on c 12-1 is making me. Still going on about illegals who can not speak english. Illegals is what this started with and it is still being dragged out. This started about 1970 . the opinion was divided between teach them english and a mickey mouse program of easing them into english. It was , "oh those poor kids, they can not handle english. Now you are broadcasting a program in mostly spanish about the same thing. Get off of it. It has been 43 years and the program still doesn't work. You have actually discriminated against them by holding them back in trying to "TAKE CARE OF THEM." ACTUALLY ALL YOU FOLKS IN FAVOR OF THIS ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THEM AND AGAINST THE REST OF US. NEITHER GROUP CAN GET ON WITH LIFE, YOU KEEP DRAGGING THIS ALONG. When John W. Powell (of Grand Canyon fame) was 14 years old he ran a farm while his father was a preacher. He did just fine. Let these kids learn english so they can do fine. Please post this. It is time to get on with life after 43, yes 43 years of this.
CPT12 Response: Thank you for your email and feedback. I am sorry the broadcast upset you.
