Ten portraits of children belonging to nomadic tribes, living in deserts around the globe. What kind of life do these children have in this 21st century? How can they reconcile their ancestral traditions, so deeply rooted in their upbringing and education, with the omnipresence of the modern world? Obliged to establish a sedentary existence, these peoples will gradually lose their culture and very identity. These films show the joys, hardships and hopes of children living in a hostile environment where "progress" is constantly eroding a way of life based on traditional values.
