Don Bryant began his music career by singing in a Memphis church at age 5 and grew up to serve as a staff songwriter for the legendary Hi Records Don Bryant's biggest hit came when, in 1970, he was linked up with Hi Records artist Ann Peebles and the two penned the classic "I Can't Stand the Rain." In this episode, Don shows off his soulful pipes on several songs including, "Don't Give Up on Love" and "A Nickel and a Nail."
