PROGRAM DETAILS

Where The Highway Ends

The past 300 years have brought many changes to the Navajo's daily existence and their modern leaders are greatly concerned that ancient philosophies may not survive much longer. The great traditions of the past have been superseded by the all-enveloping behemoth of American globalization. With the youth of the nation enchanted by American culture and the Navajo language itself becoming eroded, the Navajo people ask themselves what the future holds.
