DENVER – (July 28, 2008) – Is there a legitimate basis for the federal income tax?

In his final documentary, the late filmmaker Aaron Russo explored this question and more in “America: Freedom to Fascism,” airing Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. on KBDI Channel 12.

Russo’s powerful theory that Americans are not required to pay a federal income tax was explored and documented with meticulous attention, all while weaving a mesmerizing tale about America’s recent past.

KBDI will be offering a DVD of the documentary as a thank you gift in the upcoming pledge drive, and for the first time an exclusive DVD copy of a “Colorado Inside Live” interview with Aaron Russo, filmed in studio at Channel 12 with Peter Boyles, will be available as well.
