DENVER – (August 16, 2008) – Voters throughout the state can view the only televised U.S. Senate debate with two third party candidates alongside the two major party candidates. The debate, taped August 14 at KBDI-Channel 12, will be available online at www.kbdi.org through November 4. Third party candidates Bob Kinsey of the Green Party and Doug Campbell of the American Constitution Party as well as Democratic candidate Mark Udall and Republican candidate Bob Schaffer answered questions ranging from health care and energy to Congressional absences and the conflict between Russia and Georgia. CBS4’s Jim Benemann hosted the debate with panelists Aaron Harber of KBDI and Rocky Mountain News reporter Lynn Bartels. Colorado Decides is a partnership of KBDI-TV, CBS4 and the Rocky Mountain News. The series of 15 Colorado Decides candidate and referendum debates will be available on the KBDI website until the November 4 election. ###
