DENVER – (August 18, 2008) – Documentaries on Shirley Chisholm and Harry Truman are among programs scheduled during the week of Democratic National Convention week on KBDI-Channel 12. “Chisholm ’72 – Unbought and Unbossed,” will air Monday, Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. The documentary follows the 1972 campaign trail of Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman to run for president. “Walter Cronkite: Witness to History,” a documentary about the trusted anchorman and broadcast legend, will air Tuesday at 10 p.m. A “Wide Angle” documentary will address the political issue of climate change Wednesday, Aug 27. at 10 p.m. The documentaries will air during convention week after 7 p.m. evening convention coverage with CBS4 on Channel 12 and “Snapshots,” a 9:30 p.m. KBDI nightly program with highlights from the DNC. “Truman: Parts 1 and 2” will air on American Experience on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. --30-- About KBDI KBDI provides high-quality, edgy programming as well as services that address substantive social and educational needs.
