The Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence are designed to honor individual and station excellence within the Colorado broadcasting industry and to celebrate broadcasters’ service to their communities. It was the first time that awards for public broadcasting were included in the annual awards ceremony. The awards gala is held each March in Denver. Stations compete in a variety of categories with judging of entries administered by another state’s broadcast association.
