DENVER—March 26, 2009—The Aussie Rules Football season begins Monday, Apr. 6 on KBDI’s MHz Worldview (DT-12.3). The match of the week, chosen by fans, and a one-hour highlight program will air Mondays at 6 and 9 p.m. In the April 6 match, 2008’s league-leading goal kicker Daniel Motlop and most improved player Travis Boak of the Port Adelaide Power vie in the most competitive league in the world for a NAB Cup premiership against the defending champion Hawthorn Hawks. The Australian Football League (AFL) features 16 teams, from the Essendon Bombers, to the St. Kilda Saints, to the Sydney Swans.
