American music shows will air 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. on July 4 on Channel 12

DENVER, June 24, 2009 – American music will fill the airwaves on Fourth of July Weekend July 3 and 4 on KBDI-12, Colorado Public Television.

Three music shows will kick off the weekend Friday evening.  Five popular shows, including the popular Fifth Annual Night of Stars Concert and Austin City Limits with Lyle Lovett & Friends, will air from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Saturday, July 4.

Austin City Limits: The Reconteurs and Cat Power airs Friday, July 3 at 9 p.m. followed by two episodes of Jammin’ at Hippie Jacks at 10 and 10:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the evening will kick off with The Fifth Annual Night of Stars Concert at 7 p.m. followed by Jammin’ at Hippie Jacks with Malcombe Holcombe and Gove Scrivenor at 8:30 and 9 p.m., respectively.   Austin City Limits: Lyle Lovett & Friends will play at 9:30 followed by The Big Squeeze at 10:30 and Heart Strings: The Story of the Kamaka Ukelele at 11 p.m.  The music programs will repeat until 4 a.m.
