“The Madoff Affair”: An In-depth Look on Channel 12

DENVER – (July 7, 2009) –Promises, guarantees and “one big lie” are the topics of the upcoming “Frontline” premier.

“The Madoff Affair” looks into the life of Bernie Madoff, , perpetrator of the world’s largest Ponzi scheme, who duped hundreds of unsuspecting victims out of their life savings.  The program broadcasts Wednesday, July 22 at 9 p.m. on KBDI-Channel 12.  It examines a closer look into the life of an extreme con-artist, who even in the sour economy, made making money look easy.

Madoff promised steady returns on high investments.  Little did his investors know, their money was stolen for Madoff’s increasingly extravagant lifestyle.  It was all fun and games for Madoff until his arrest on December 11, 2008.
A full schedule of air times for all of the programs can be found at www.KBDI.org.
