Austin City Limits will move from its original Friday-night spot to Saturday nights, directly preceding Legends & Lyrics providing one of the best one-two musical punches in television. Viewers can see nearly non-stop music every Saturday from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m.! Get your weekly fix of music on the newly-improved Saturday lineup at KBDI-12. Austin City Limits will now air Saturday nights at 9 p.m., 12 midnight and once more at 2 a.m. Upcoming performers include Lyle Lovett (Aug. 22), My Morning Jacket (Aug. 29) and The Dixie Chicks (Sept. 5). Legends & Lyrics will air Saturday nights at 10 p.m., 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Upcoming performers include Kris Kristofferson, Patty Griffin and Randy Owen (Aug. 22), Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx and 3 Doors Down (Aug. 29) and Leigh Nash from Sixpence None the Richer, Mindy Smith and Reggie Hamm (Sept. 5). For over 30 years Austin City Limits has had one goal: to present live music to audiences across the world. Legends & Lyrics is a wonderful musical program focusing on the unique art of songwriting. Together, the artists and poets share stories of song creation and perform hit songs and new releases.
