DENVER – August 6, 2009 – KBDI- Channel 12’s new local arts program In Focus with Eden Lane will highlight the Henry Awards which commend the dynamic talent seen in the Denver Theater scene as well as cover Rojo Kermés, an event for the Museo de las Americas, on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 11 p.m.

Lane will provide exclusive backstage access to The Henrys, the Colorado Theater Guild’s most prestigious awards ceremony.

Following coverage of the Henry Awards, Lane will speak with Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper at Rojo Kermés, a gala supporting The Museo de las Americas.  Rojo Kermés, a carnival-themed festival, is the Museo’s largest fundraising event.  In Focus will provide coverage of the announcement of the new Executive Director of the Museo, Maruca Salazar.
