New Mhz Worldview (12.3) Programming will Launch in Fall 2009

DENVER – (August 19, 2009) – MHz Worldview (DT-12.3) will add five new programs to its 24/7 international programming in September.

Three daily news programs will be added: IBA News, the only English-language daily news program from the Israeli Broadcast Authority, at 3:30 p.m.; Al Jazeera English, the English version of the Arabic-language news network, at 5 p.m. and Euronews at 5:30 p.m.

Achar!, a sitcom based upon a marriage of an Indian man and a Chinese woman, and I Not Stupid, an award-winning Singaporean sitcom, will air at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.

 In the foreign affairs category, This Week in France from France 24, RT Spotlight from Russia, Riz Khan from AJE and Point Blanc from South Africa, will be shown at 7:30 on Sundays with Monday repeats.
 
 MHz Worldview is one of three channels offered by Colorado Public Television, KBDI-12.  Channel 12.3 is currently available to over-the-air viewers and DirecTV viewers and hopefully will be carried by Comcast and DISH in the near future.
