DENVER – (October 6, 2009) – Tired of programs that continuously focus on negativity in the world? Channel 12 has the cure! On Thursday, Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. Channel 12 will air two 30-minute episodes of the award-winning show, Natural Heroes, an inspiring series that highlights the lives of people young and old who are on a mission to make the world a better place to live. At 9 p.m. Natural Heroes will showcase the Brower Youth Awards, a program that honors young people who have distinguished themselves by their extraordinary social and environmental activism. Then at 9:30 p.m. Natural Heroes will follow 92 year-old Martin Litton who has dedicated his life to prevent dams being built on the Colorado River in order to protect the Grand Canyon from flooding.
