DENVER – October 22, 2009) – Saying goodbye is never easy, so as Channel 12 bids a fond farewell to the popular series NORTHERN EXPOSURE, the station will thank fans with a 20-episode Thanksgiving marathon of viewers’ all-time favorite episodes.

Vote by midnight on Sunday, November 1 !

Viewers are invited to vote for their favorite episodes via a link on the station’s website, www.kbdi.org.  The voting deadline is midnight on Sunday, Nov. 1.

The station will then air the 20 all-time favorites selected by viewers during a three-part thank-you marathon:

·         Part 1: Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving Day) from 11am - 8pm

·         Part 2: Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving Day) from 10pm - 5am

·         Part 3: Friday, November 27 from 11am - 5:30pm

Channel 12 has aired the Northern Exposure series five times since 2007. The final six episodes of the fifth series will air in back-to-back episodes Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 23-25 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  The marathon of 20 episodes will begin the following day on Thanksgiving.
