DENVER – (November 16, 2009) – When U.S. troops and coalition forces are out of Iraq in December 2011, will Iraqis be ready to stand on their own in terms of security and fighting insurgents and terrorists? Studio 12 Host Tamara Banks will share insights and footage from her recent trip to Iraq and gather opinions from program panelists and call-in viewers. Scheduled panelists include Col. Joe Rice from the Army Reserve and Raad Al Kurdi. Col. Rice, currently based in Fort Benning, Ga., has spent several tours in Iraq and until a few weeks ago was the spokesperson for the Multinational Security Transition Command. Raad Al Kurdi, a former interpreter for Col. Rice and U.S. forces in Iraq, came to Colorado two months ago after Col. Rice helped Raad’s family escape from Iraq. Each week Studio 12 explores hot issues and fascinating topics with provocative and knowledgeable guests.
