DENVER – (December 15, 2009) – A Christmas Eve mass live from the Vatican, San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker, a Celtic Irish choral group and Arthur and Curious George Christmas specials are among the Christmas specials in store for Colorado Public Television viewers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on Channel 12.1.

With the time change, the live Christmas Eve mass from the Vatican will air at 2 p.m. MST. (Note: the Christmas Eve mass at the Vatican has been changed this year to 10 p.m.)

Christmas Eve, December 24

7:30 a.m.: Arthur’s Perfect Christmas

8:30 a.m.: Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas

2 p.m.: Christmas Eve Mass LIVE from the Vatican

4 p.m.: Christmas at Luther: Night of Glory, Dawn of Peace

5 p.m.: Tonic Sci-Fa Christmas – a four-man a capella group

6 p.m.: Christmas at Luther: Night of Glory, Dawn of Peace

7 p.m.: Valparaiso University Christmas Concert

8 p.m.: Great Performances: Dance in America: San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker 

10 p.m.: Down in Yon Forrest: Christmas from the Middle Ages

11 p.m.: Christmas at Luther: Night of Glory, Dawn of Peace

12 a.m.:  Anuna: Christmas Memories – Celtic Irish choral group

1 a.m.: Tonic Sci-Fa Christmas – a four-man a capella group

2 a.m.: Valparaiso University Christmas Concert

3 a.m.: Anuna: Christmas Memories – Celtic Irish choral group
