Empowering the Unemployed: Examining Unemployment from the Job Seeker’s Perspective -- February 10 on Channel 12 Call-in Program

DENVER – (February 4, 2010) – What actions will the successful job seeker implement in 2010?
What are the myths about effective job hunting?
And if job seekers are discouraged, what must they do to keep their spirits up?
Those questions and more will be addressed in Empowering the Unemployed, a live Channel 12 call-in show that will examine unemployment from the job seeker’s perspective.
The special Studio 12 program will air Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. on Colorado Public Television’s channel 12.1.
Studio 12 Host Steffan Tubbs will be joined by panelists who understand the frustration of sending out resume after resume with no response and can answer job hunt questions: Kathleen Winsor-Games, owner and executive recruiter of The Winsor Group; Judi Kent Gervasini, owner of J. Kent Staffing; and Jeff Barnes, a finance and operations executive who is in the job market.
