Denver- (September 14, 2010) - From heated conversation about the proposed New York City Islamic community center to threatened Qur’an burnings and anti-Muslim sentiments, the Muslim community has been greatly impacted over the last months. Colorado Public Television (CPT 12), Studio 12 host Steffan Tubbs will be discussing the impact on the Colorado community with a panel of Muslim leaders on Wednesday, September 15th at 8:00 p.m. Joining Tubbs on the panel will be Ibrahim Kazerooni who is Imam for the Denver Muslim community. He has traveled to many countries in pastoral capacity. Imam Ibrahim Kazerooni is currently serving as a member on the Board of Religious advisers to the Denver Police. The second panel guest is Executive director of The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, Jeremy Shaver. The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado promotes justice and interfaith understanding by educating and equipping people of faith and goodwill for advocacy and dialogue.
