WILL EARLY ELECTION TRENDS HOLD UP?

Denver- (November 2, 2010) – The 2010 mid-term election has been filled with excitement, intrigue, and surprises.  Colorado Public Television’s signature program, Studio 12, will focus on the issues and stories that led to the election results. Join us on Wednesday, November 3rd at 8:00 p.m.

Host, Tamara Banks, political analyst, Eric Sondermann, and Westword editor-in-chief, Patricia Calhoun will discuss how the election outcomes may impact Colorado as well as the nation. More specifically, the panelist will focus on the high profile races including the gubernatorial, senate, CD 3-4-7 and Ballot issues 60-61-101. Key questions might include if the race for Senate between Democratic Michael Bennet and Republican Ken Buck will be the closest in the country as expected? In addition to, will the Republicans pick up the four seats needed to wrest control of the state Senate from Democrats? As always, viewers will be invited to call in and share their comments and questions.

The program is available for free video-on-demand viewing on the CPT-Channel 12 website at www.cpt12.org after November 5, 2010.
