Author: Rebecca Rose
Colorado Public Television (CPT12) will air Seeds of Death: Unveiling the Lies of GMOs on March 13 at 9 pm MDT on Channel 12.1 and simultaneously online at cpt12.org/seedsofdeath. Beginning the following day, March 14, the film will be available to view online, anytime via the same website address. During the broadcast, the film’s producer – author and activist Gary Null PhD – will be live in the CPT12 studio to discuss the film. Dr. Roy Speiser of Clean Water Revival, Inc. will also make a guest appearance. During the past decade, there has been a growing awareness about the limitations and dangers of genetically modified foods and chemical industrial agriculture now threatening the health, lives and environment across the planet. Seeds of Death: Unveiling the Lies of GMOs features the voices and warnings of experts demanding the reassessment of GMOs. These experts include Jeffrey Smith, Vandana Shiva, Ronnie Cummins, Shiv Chopra, Michael Antoniou, Rima Laibow, Bruce Lipton, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Arpad Pusztai, organic farmers, and others. The film argues that GMOs will devastate the planet and create catastrophic health and food crises for the world population. “CPT12 convenes independent voices – those of scientists, engineers and innovators,” said Shari Bernson, Director of Development at CPT12. “The station continues to air content that challenges mainstream thinking. Whole Food’s recent decision to begin labeling GMO foods builds on a growing body of research and consumer demand to understand what is in their food.” “Our track record for airing subjects ahead of mainstream media includes programs focused on local and international music, the arts, spirituality, transparency content and more,” continued Bernson. “We offer programs that examine and question the world we live in, ranging from alternative and natural health & wellness to factory farming, GMOs, crop circles, the events of 9/11, and the environment. CPT12 provides a forum for public discussion and we invite you to participate!” ### About Colorado Public Television – CPT12 Every day, Colorado Public Television (CPT12, PBS) sets itself apart by creating and curating an unparalleled schedule of local, independent, trusted “community voice” programming on three channels:
