In this edition of NPR's ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, KBDI President Wick Rowland is recognized as a PBS station leader who was willing to air POSTCARDS FROM BUSTER. Rowland is also interviewed about the new controversey surrounding an unedited version of FRONTLINE's "A Company of Soldiers" that contains "raw" language used by troops in Iraq. PBS says it can't ensure that stations won't face FCC fines if the show airs unedited. Frontline executive producers say none of the expletives violate indecency rules. |
