Romanoff to Appear on 'Studio 12' Call-in Program


Denver, CO – June 9, 2008 – Colorado Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff will appear on KBDI-TV Channel 12 as a guest on the live, call-in “Studio 12” program on Wednesday, June 18, at 8 p.m.

Steffan Tubbs, co-host of “Studio 12” and the morning show co-host for News Radio 850 KOA, will conduct the 60-minute interview program in which Romanoff will speak about his time in office and the legislative session. Viewers are invited to phone in with questions and comments.

Rep. Romanoff was elected Speaker in 2005-2006 and again in 2007. He is the first Democrat to hold the position since 1975. He was the recipient in 2006 of the William M. Bulger Award honoring the "legislative leader who has worked to preserve and build public trust in the institution of the state legislature and whose career embodies the highest principles of leadership – integrity, compassion, vision and courage."

The program also will be available for viewing on the video-on-demand section of the www.kbdi.org website after June 23.
